Kate’s Training Log – 4.9.2019

Defiance done! I’m trying to settle back into the full swing of the 98 program, with a few gym competitions and events coming up toward the end of the year. I’m still feeling a bit empty after the big weekend, with swollen knees and purple toenails. Today’s ESD session was actually a perfect opportunity to get moving again. 

I decided to hit the session on the assault bike, coming fresh off the 20 minutes last week, as well as not wanting to put more impact through my knees. The goal today was to hold just above the average RPM I held last week (65). I stayed fairly consistent, floating between 68-70 most of the time. The session felt okay, just still not working with a full tank after the big weekend and some dry lungs toward the end.
