Sam Bennett
Head Coach
Sam Bennett
Head Coach

Sam has been involved in the fitness industry for over 10 years. Throughout that time he has endeavoured on a journey of self-exploration across several exercise modalities. These experiences led him to discover that while everyone has shortcomings and challenges in life, they can also become your most valuable assets for growth. Admittedly Sam has faced more obstacles than most and has used these to learn, develop and grow as a fitness coach and mentor.

Sam’s fitness journey began when he joined the Australian Defence force at 19 years old. These years moulded his methodology of teamwork, mental toughness and physical preparedness.

In 2017 Sam was diagnosed with cancer, fighting multiple battles with the disease including chemotherapy and invasive surgeries. Through each setback, he was able to recognise these obstacles as opportunities to reinvent what training means to him. Having rebuilt his physical strength multiple times, Sam developed an in depth understanding of functional bodybuilding principles. Prioritising, adaptability and sustainability, over aesthetics. Placing greater emphasis on overall capability.

Sam’s intent is to work with both individuals and groups alike, to bring a unique style of coaching that reflects his past. He deeply resonates with people who are looking for long term progress, without the expense of short-term health and performance. Including those who want to invest in themselves through seeking to learn and understand, who seek obstacles and together look for ways to work through them. Each recognising the importance and value of working together as a team.

He lives driven by a mission to impact the lives of others, helping those who are willing to make a change.
